About Crochet from Mars

I picked up my first crochet hook in February 2024, with no big plans, just simple curiosity. A month later, I created an Instagram account to share my first little makes, not knowing how much this hobby would soon change my life.

As I discovered the vibrant online crochet community and its “tester calls” (opportunities to try new patterns) I started dreaming bigger. When I wasn’t chosen for some of them, I decided to take matters into my own hands: why not design my own patterns?

With time, patience, and lots of yarn, I began to find my place in this wonderful community. The kind words, the support, and the amazing friendships I’ve made along the way made me fall completely in love with this craft. But soon, my shelves were overflowing with plushies and my head was buzzing with new ideas… It was time to take the next step.

So, in January 2025, I took the leap and officially launched my own small business. Just a month later, my first popular pattern "Rory the RolyPoly" received a heartwarming response that exceeded all my expectations. It was a turning point that encouraged me to keep creating unique patterns and adorable plushies.
