Article 1 – Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern all purchases made through the website crochetfrommarsshop.com.

The website is operated by Crochet From Mars, the trading name of Marie Marseille, a sole trader registered in France under SIREN number 939 092 474, with its registered office at:

By placing an order on this website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Article 2 – Products

Crochet From Mars offers for sale:

handmade crochet creations;
digital crochet patterns supplied in PDF format.

Each product is described as accurately as possible.

Because every item is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, colour or finishing may occur. These differences are part of the unique nature of handcrafted products and shall not be considered defects.

Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes. Colours may vary depending on individual screen settings.

Article 3 – Prices

All prices are displayed in euros (€).

In accordance with Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, VAT is not applicable.

Shipping costs are calculated before the order is confirmed and are clearly displayed during checkout.

Crochet From Mars reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, orders will always be charged at the price applicable when the order is placed.

Article 4 – Orders

An order becomes binding once payment has been successfully completed and an order confirmation email has been sent.

Crochet From Mars reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud, previous disputes with the customer, or any circumstance preventing the proper fulfilment of the order.

Article 5 – Custom Orders

Certain creations may be made to order according to the customer's specifications.

The project details, estimated price and production time will be agreed upon before work begins.

A 25% deposit is required to confirm any custom order.

Payment of this deposit authorises Crochet From Mars to begin work on the project.

Should the customer cancel the order after production has begun, the deposit shall remain non-refundable in order to compensate for the time invested and any materials purchased or used.

The remaining balance must be paid before shipment.

Article 6 – Payment

Payment may be made using the payment methods available on the website.

Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully confirmed.

Payment details are processed securely by authorised payment providers and are never stored by Crochet From Mars.

Article 7 – Delivery

Orders are shipped within France and to countries of the European Union.

Items available in stock are generally dispatched within three (3) business days following payment confirmation.

Production times for custom-made creations vary and are agreed with the customer before production begins.

Orders are shipped via La Poste or Mondial Relay, depending on the delivery option selected.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond the control of Crochet From Mars.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Crochet From Mars cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Article 8 – Digital Products

Digital crochet patterns are supplied exclusively as PDF files.

A download link is generally sent by email within 15 minutes after payment has been confirmed.

Customers are encouraged to check their spam or junk folder if the email has not been received.

Download links are intended solely for the purchaser and must not be shared with third parties.

Article 9 – Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing physical products online may benefit from a statutory withdrawal period in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

However, this right does not apply to:

personalised or custom-made creations;
digital content supplied immediately after purchase where the customer has expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of their statutory right of withdrawal.

For digital crochet patterns, this acknowledgement is obtained before completing the purchase.

Article 10 – Returns and Refunds

Where a valid right of withdrawal applies, returned products must be sent back in their original condition, complete and unused.

Unless otherwise required by law, return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Custom-made products cannot be returned or refunded.

Downloaded digital products are non-refundable where the statutory exception applies.

If an item arrives damaged or defective, customers should contact Crochet From Mars promptly and provide photographs allowing the issue to be assessed.

Article 11 – Product Safety

The recommended minimum age is indicated on each product page.

Certain creations may contain small parts that could present a choking hazard for young children.

Customers are responsible for following the safety recommendations provided on each product page and for regularly checking the condition of items intended for children's use.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property

All crochet patterns, handmade creations, photographs, illustrations, texts, logos and other content published on this website remain the exclusive property of Crochet From Mars.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, translated, modified or republished without prior written permission.

Article 13 – Pattern Licence

The purchase of a crochet pattern grants the customer a personal, non-exclusive licence to use that pattern.

Unless otherwise stated, customers may sell finished handmade items created from Crochet From Mars patterns, provided they are produced by hand, in small quantities, and not through industrial or mass production.

Customers may not:

redistribute the PDF;
resell the pattern;
publish it online;
translate and redistribute it;
modify it for redistribution;
share it free of charge or for commercial purposes.

Article 14 – Personal Data

Personal data collected through this website is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Article 15 – Consumer Mediation

Customers are encouraged to contact Crochet From Mars first in the event of any complaint or dispute.

Information regarding the appointed consumer mediator will be added to this page once Crochet From Mars has completed its registration with an approved French consumer mediation service.

Article 16 – Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the customer's country of residence.
